Key qualifications & desired experience:
Current Occupational Therapy license (OT) in the state of Ohio
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Ability to plan and implement individual and group therapy sessions
Capable of managing a caseload and maintaining documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
Flexibility, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset
Primary responsibilities: Evaluate students referred for occupational therapy and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide direct therapy services to students as specified by their IEPs or 504 plans
Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' functional and academic success
Document progress, maintain records, and participate in meetings and parent conferences as needed
Assist with adapting classroom environments, instructional materials, and daily activities to foster student participation
Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
