Leverage your specialized OT skills to collaborate with educators, support student participation, and design interventions tailored to each child's unique strengths and needs. Desired Background and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly preferred
Solid grasp of IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
Skillful in providing direct, consultative, and collaborative services
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Compassionate communicator who connects well with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities: Assess students' functional skills and develop appropriate OT intervention plans
Deliver therapy services individually or in groups according to student IEPs
Document progress and communicate results with team members and families
Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP planning, and facilitate transitions
Offer strategies to support fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills in the school environment
Provide consultative guidance to teachers and classroom staff for accommodations and modifications
