Job description
Make an impact in the lives of children and families as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant pediatric clinic setting. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work collaboratively with school-aged children (elementary to middle school) to foster growth, independence, and success both in and out of the classroom. What you'll bring:
Active California Occupational Therapy license (required)
Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy
Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to evidence-based therapy and creative problem-solving
Enthusiasm for supporting children's development and advocating for student needs
Key responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in a school setting
Conduct assessments to evaluate fine motor, sensory integration, and adaptive skills
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
Work closely with educators and families to make recommendations and ensure continuity of care
Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
Adapt approaches to meet the unique needs and goals of each child
