Job description
Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by supporting their growth and development as a full-time Occupational Therapist in a school-based environment. This contract opportunity offers a diverse caseload with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing therapy services both in-person and through teletherapy as needed. The position is ideal for a caring, collaborative OT who is comfortable working in a dynamic educational setting and is eager to help students succeed both academically and personally.
Key Qualifications:
Active or pending Arizona Occupational Therapy license, with IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Background in various OT settings, including schools, healthcare, home health, and teletherapy
Previous school-based experience highly valued, particularly with IEPs, evaluations, and direct therapy
Strong communication and organizational skills for working with students, families, and teams
Commitment to providing high-quality, student-focused care throughout the academic year
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals and educational best practices
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student participation and achievement
Provide services onsite, with flexibility for teletherapy as needed
Maintain compliance with all relevant licensing, documentation, and district requirements
