Job description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year. Desired Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Arizona
Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric OT strongly preferred
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to design and implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
Key Responsibilities: Assess students' abilities and develop targeted treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
Deliver direct therapy services and consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
Document and report on students' progress, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
Participate in meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary discussions, and provide staff/family education as needed
Adapt and modify the learning environment to optimize student engagement and participation
