Job description
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting student success as an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role that spans both elementary and high school settings near Hilliard, OH. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Ohio
Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Ability to adapt interventions for different age groups and needs
Organizational skills to manage a caseload split between elementary and high school students
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address students' needs
Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in both elementary and high school environments
Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to promote student participation and engagement in school activities
Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records as required by school guidelines and state regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and assist in team-based planning for accommodations and strategies
Provide training and resources for staff as appropriate to implement therapeutic recommendations
