Job description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with diverse occupational therapy needs. Serve approximately 8 students, dedicating one day per week to providing expertise in both in-person and teletherapy sessions. This role focuses on delivering high-quality occupational therapy services across a range of settings, including traditional school environments, home health, and virtual platforms. With an anticipated start date of August 10, 2026, your workday will be 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM, making it ideal for those seeking consistent yet flexible commitment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid credentials in Occupational Therapy, with experience in school-based, home health, and/or teletherapy settings
Experience developing and implementing individualized student plans
Medicaid NCI # required
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
Adaptability to provide both in-person and virtual services
Prior experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
What You'll Do: Assess and evaluate students' needs to develop tailored therapy plans
Deliver occupational therapy interventions in accordance with each student's IEP or established goals
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress and maximize outcomes
Maintain thorough documentation and comply with Medicaid billing requirements
Flexibly adapt service delivery to in-school, home, or virtual environments as needed
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
