Job description

Qualifications and Skills:
Active Occupational Therapist license, valid for practice in Massachusetts
Previous experience serving in a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged students
Solid understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to liaise with teachers, staff, and families
Commitment to creating positive outcomes for students with diverse needs
Responsibilities: Evaluate students referred for occupational therapy and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapy sessions tailored to each child's specific goals and needs within the school environment
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy interventions into students' daily routines
Document progress, maintain thorough and accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
Offer strategies and resources to faculty for classroom success and growth
