Job description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting near Mason, OH. Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in Ohio
Eligibility for the Ohio Department of Education pupil service license (can begin with pending status; license valid for 5 years)
Previous experience as a school-based OT is advantageous
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to fostering students' independence and participation
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify students' developmental and functional needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
Support students in achieving academic and functional goals within the educational environment
Help facilitate access and inclusion through adaptive strategies and equipment
Maintain accurate documentation and case records in compliance with state and district requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and consult with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
