Job description
Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a supportive school-based setting. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current California OT licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with staff, students, and families
Commitment to fostering inclusive, accessible learning environments
Responsibilities: Assess students to determine occupational therapy needs and develop individualized plans
Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward goals
Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
Document interventions, outcomes, and communications in accordance with school district requirements
Support classroom adaptations and modifications to encourage student participation
Serve as a resource for teachers and families regarding strategies for student success
