Job description

This full-time, contract position begins ASAP and runs for 4 months, covering the school year. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and other clinicians to foster student success in both academic and functional skills. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active California OT license and certification
Successful experience or specialized training in school-based OT
Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to document effectively
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Comfortable working with K-12th grade students across a range of needs
Responsibilities: Assess students using standardized and functional assessment tools to identify OT needs
Develop individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to support students' participation and independence
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Contribute to IEP meetings and provide necessary documentation according to district and state guidelines
Educate teachers and staff on strategies, adaptations, and support for student success
