Job description
Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic K-12 educational setting near Pittsburg, CA as a valued contract professional. Here, you'll collaborate with school staff and families to help students overcome developmental, physical, and sensory challenges, empowering them to succeed in academics and daily activities. Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapy license in the state
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
Prior experience in schools or pediatrics preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to fostering inclusion and student independence
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and strengths
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Deliver direct and consultative OT services within classrooms and individualized sessions
Collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and parents
Document progress and adapt interventions for optimal outcomes
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
