Job description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contracted occupational therapist in the vibrant area near Rio Rico, AZ. This full-time position offers the chance to work across four school sites, providing services to a caseload of approximately 60 students each week. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and staff to help students achieve their goals and thrive in the school environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active state OT license
Strong communication abilities and a collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams
Experience in educational settings is valued, but all qualified candidates will be considered
Comfortable utilizing various delivery methods, including on-site, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy approaches
Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students across multiple sites
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs, focusing on fine/gross motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
Partner closely with teachers, special education teams, and parents to ensure consistent and effective support
Maintain detailed records and document progress in accordance with school and professional guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise on student development and accommodations
