Job description
Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of students as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting schools near Seattle, WA. Two opportunities are available: a part-time role (4 days per week) for the full school year and a full-time role for the second semester. Desired Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Washington State
Experience providing OT services within school settings preferred
Ability to evaluate and implement IEPs for students with diverse needs
Strong interpersonal abilities to foster effective communication with staff, students, and families
Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling
Innovative approach and adaptability in dynamic educational environments
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments of students' functional skills and sensory-motor abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in various learning environments
Maintain detailed progress notes and required documentation
Deliver interventions individually and in small group settings
Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing professional input to guide student services
