Job description
A rewarding opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist eager to make a positive impact in an elementary school environment. This full-time position is set to start as soon as possible and continues through December 23rd, working Monday through Friday. There is also flexibility to consider two part-time therapists for candidates seeking a shared schedule.
The role involves providing occupational therapy services across three elementary schools, supporting approximately 30 students. Most sessions are conducted in small group or individual settings, allowing for tailored interventions and meaningful connections with each student.
Key Qualifications/Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
Previous experience in school-based OT preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative school team
Organizational skills for managing a multi-site caseload
Role Overview: Delivering therapeutic OT services to elementary-aged students
Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals
Collaborating with teachers, families, and educational staff to support student progress
Documenting session outcomes and preparing timely progress reports
Traveling between three school sites as needed
Fostering a supportive, engaging environment tailored to each student's needs
