Job description
Step into a fulfilling role providing occupational therapy services in an educational environment for the entire school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while being part of a dedicated and collaborative team. With a commitment of 35 hours per week, you'll have the consistency and stability to build relationships and support each student's individual growth.
In this position, you'll receive between $55 and $70 per hour, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
Experience working with school-aged children or within educational systems preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to develop and implement individualized and group interventions
Dedication to fostering students' functional independence and participation in the classroom
Responsibilities Include: Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school setting
Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student needs
Monitoring and documenting student progress toward IEP goals
Providing recommendations for classroom modifications or assistive devices as necessary
Participating in team meetings and contributing to program planning and student success
