Job description
Bring your expertise as a skilled occupational therapist to a dynamic school environment in close proximity to Virginia Beach, VA! Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience working in school settings is preferred
Strong communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams
Compassion for working with children and youth of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Ability to assess students' needs and create customized intervention plans
Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
Core Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments and create targeted treatment plans
Implement interventions to support students' academic and functional goals
Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
Contribute to IEP meetings, planning, and student progress evaluations
Provide ongoing support, resources, and training as needed to school staff
