Job description
Make an impact by providing vital occupational therapy services to students in a supportive school environment. This contract-based opportunity is ideal for an experienced occupational therapist ready to use their skills in a collaborative educational setting, offering both onsite and teletherapy support.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active state OT license
Prior experience with school-aged children
Proficiency in delivering services via teletherapy platforms as well as in-person
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals, both on campus and virtually
Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs in academic, social, and functional areas
Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to develop and monitor progress on IEP goals
Document services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with district and regulatory standards
Provide consultations and training to teachers and school staff on strategies for student support
Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team
Maintain compliance with confidentiality and ethical guidelines
