Job description

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of New Jersey
Experience providing school-based OT services, ideally with elementary or preteen students
Previous exposure to in-home pediatric therapy is highly valued
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for interacting with children, families, and educators
Comfortable operating independently and managing a flexible, part-time schedule
Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and upholding student well-being
Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized OT assessments and interventions tailored to 9-10-year-old students
Facilitate skill development in gross and fine motor areas, sensory processing, and daily living activities
Collaborate with educational staff and parents to set and achieve therapy goals
Document sessions and maintain organized, compliant records in line with school and home service protocols
Adapt sessions to meet the needs of each setting, ensuring consistency and progress
