Job description

Desired Qualifications:
Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license (in Alabama or eligible for licensure)
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Excellent communication and organization skills
Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation
Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and other service providers
Enthusiasm for creating individualized interventions and adapting strategies to meet student needs
Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's strengths and areas of need
Deliver direct OT interventions within classroom and small group settings
Support the development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and adaptive skills
Maintain clear documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
Educate staff and families about OT strategies for classroom and home use
Participate actively in collaborative meetings and ongoing professional development
