Job description

What You'll Bring:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
Understanding of IEP process and experience with documentation for special education services
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative educational team

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
Provide group and individual therapy sessions focusing on academic and functional skills
Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for student goals
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress, and compliance reports
Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success
Adapt interventions to meet unique learning and developmental needs
Deliver on-site or virtual services as determined by school needs
