Job description
Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy to a supportive environment near Odessa, DE for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity places you at the heart of a collaborative community, making a difference in the lives of students as either an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Delaware or
Delaware COTA license (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)
School-based OT/COTA experience is desirable
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to fostering growth, independence, and access for students with diverse needs
Your Role: Deliver occupational therapy services within the educational setting to help students achieve IEP goals
Assess students' needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor progress
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success and integrate therapy into daily routines
Maintain accurate records, IEP documentation, and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions
Provide consultative services and support to the school community as needed
