Job description
Make a meaningful impact as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting elementary students for the school year! This engaging school-based opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children thrive in academic settings. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow specialists to foster student development across two welcoming locations near Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Your expertise will make a direct difference, working with a manageable caseload of 35-45 students per week. You'll focus on assessment, goal setting, and intervention planning-delivering services in-person (not VOCO), promoting each child's independence and success both in and out of the classroom.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin
Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, positive approach to working across multiple school environments
Ability to organize and manage a caseload efficiently
Your Responsibilities: Provide direct OT services and evaluate student needs
Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Implement therapeutic interventions to support fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
Travel between two elementary locations as scheduled
