Job description

This contract opportunity is for the upcoming school year and offers full-time hours (40 per week). Located in the vibrant community near Sahuarita, AZ, your work will be vital in helping students reach their full potential within the school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona (or ability to obtain)
Prior experience working in a school environment strongly preferred
Ability to design and implement IEPs and therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students of varying abilities
Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to evaluate students' needs and present levels of function
Develop and deliver therapy sessions individually or in group settings according to IEP goals
Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation per district protocols
Provide consultation and training to teachers and support staff to facilitate students' access to the curriculum
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input on accommodations and modifications
Engage families in the therapeutic process to support student success beyond the classroom
