Job description
Step into a contract opportunity supporting students from preschool through 8th grade near San Francisco, CA. Enjoy making a meaningful impact across two vibrant school campuses, working with a caseload of approximately 35 students. This rewarding assignment starts immediately and extends through May 29, offering the chance to foster growth and achievement in young learners.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
Background in supporting students across a range of ages and developmental stages, from preschool to middle school
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet individual student needs
Responsibilities: Provide direct OT services to students as indicated in their IEPs
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored for a diverse caseload
Collaborate with educators, related service staff, and families to promote functional independence and academic success
Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations
Maintain detailed documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
Travel between two school locations as part of the weekly schedule
