Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Schools
Location: Stuart, Florida
Setting: School
Pay Range: 43.42 - 45.59/hour
Schedule: 08:00:00 to 15:30:00
Contract Length: School Year
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly, Local candidates only - travel stipend not available, Traveler friendly - travel reimbursement available
Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in the school setting
Requirements: Valid Occupational Therapist license, Be willing to obtain Florida licensure, 1-2 years of experience as an OT
Responsibilities:
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families to support student development.
Conduct speech and language evaluations and write individualized goals for IEPs.
Provide direct therapy services tailored to students' needs across various classroom environments.
Support students' academic and functional success through specialized interventions.
Document progress and ensure compliance with school and state regulations.
