Weare seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist tojoin a Skilled Nursing Facility in Memphis,Tennessee. This role focuses on helpingpatients regain independence in daily living activities followingillness, injury, or surgery. You will work with a geriatric andpost-acute population, developing personalized treatment plansthatimprove functional ability and overall quality of life. JobResponsibilities:
•Evaluate and treat patients withphysical, cognitive, and functional limitations in a SkilledNursingFacility setting
•Develop and implementindividualizedoccupational therapy treatment plans
•Trainpatients inactivities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing,bathing, andfeeding
•Recommend adaptive equipment andenvironmentalmodifications to improve independence
•Monitor patient progressand adjust treatment plans asneeded
•Maintain accurate andcompliant documentation ofpatient care and outcomes
Requirements
•Active state license as an Occupational Therapist inCalifornia
•Current BLS/CPR certification
•Minimum of 1year of recent OT experience preferred, ideally in a SNF orgeriatric setting
•Strong problem-solving and patient careskills
•Ability to work collaboratively within amultidisciplinary team
