We are hiring in Bronx, NY! Join us at Easterseals Story Ave for an exciting career as an Occupational Therapist! (10 month position).
nWhat You'll Do
nAs an Occupational Therapist you will work as a member of a team including teachers, speech/language pathologists, physical therapists and counselors
nYour Responsibilities Will Include:
nnnDevelop IEPs with other team members and families when necessary.
n
nnMaintain professional standards, and current skills in therapy techniques.
n
nnProvide occupational therapy services for children.
n
nnWrite session notes, progress notes and reports.
n
nnAid in maintaining equipment and workspace.
n
nnAttend staff meetings, case conferences, and other meetings as assigned.
n
nnAssist in staff development and training.
n
n nYou're a great fit for this role if you have:
nnnBachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the field of Occupational Therapy from a recognized college or university approved by AOTA OR certificate as an occupational therapy assistant
n
nnCurrent license in the state of New York
n
nnThree years’ experience working with children as a therapist is preferred
n
n nCompensation
nn$60,000-85,000 (depending on credentials and experience) for occupational therapists, COTAs have a different salary scale
