Contract Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Valley Cottage, NY | Clinic-Based Pediatric OT
Giant Leaps Occupational Therapy is seeking a passionate, play-based Occupational Therapist to join our supportive pediatric clinic team!
We are looking for a warm, collaborative clinician who enjoys helping children build confidence, regulation, independence, and functional skills through engaging, child-centered therapy.
Schedule
Sundays
1-3 weekday afternoons/evenings (after school hours)
Flexible contract position
Responsibilities
Provide individualized, play-based OT sessions
Support development in sensory processing, fine motor, motor planning, emotional regulation, executive functioning, ADLs, and visual motor skills
Collaborate with families and caregivers to support meaningful progress
Complete documentation and treatment planning in a timely manner
Qualifications
Current NYS Occupational Therapy License
NBCOT Certification
Pediatric experience preferred
Experience with sensory integration/play-based therapy strongly preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
