Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our IN-HOUSE therapy team! New Grads Welcome!
Full-Time Split Position | Two Locations

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Position!
Position Summary
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about providing high-quality, resident-centered care and helping residents improve functional independence, participate in meaningful daily activities, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and leisure activities
Provide direct therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established plans of care
Monitor resident progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning processes
Educate residents, families, and staff on adaptive equipment, home safety, and strategies to support functional independence
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards
Collaborate with nursing staff and other therapy professionals to provide coordinated, comprehensive care
Adhere to all applicable regulations, ethical standards, and company policies
Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current and valid Virginia license to practice Occupational Therapy
Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Previous experience in a long-term care or geriatric setting preferred
