Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantEvolve Therapy Services is a therapy management organization hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Pahokee, FL!Job Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing FacilityJob Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRNJob Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.Job Functions:Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based off scope of practicePerform treatment plan to residents; follow short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals based off of the established plan of care by supervising therapistInterpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team membersEstablish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team membersConduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy servicesPerform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patientsComply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentations as indicatedEducation & Qualifications:Associate's degree in Occupational TherapyMUST have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practiceOngoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certificationBenefits:Competitive pay ratesMedical, Dental, VisionGrowth opportunities from within*Benefits based on Full Time Status
