Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Vertical Health Services is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team at Athene Nursing & Rehabilitation in Town & Country, MO.

What You'll Do
Provide occupational therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, per your COTA scope of practice and the treatment plan of care
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADLs), adaptive equipment training, and functional mobility
Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in compliance with facility, state, and Medicare/Medicaid documentation standards
Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising OT, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care team
Help patients and families understand and stay engaged in the rehab process
Qualifications
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Missouri, or eligible for licensure
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
Skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience is a plus, but new grads are encouraged to apply
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for patient-centered care
