Join Our Team as a Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healingProvide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational TherapistRespond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational TherapistEnsure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of careProvide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregiversMonitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriateComplete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulationsAttend required meetings as designated by the Director of RehabWhat Makes You a Great FitActive and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant licenseCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential requiredIn good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boardsSkilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferredCurrent knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practicesExperience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferredAbility to manage patients with varying personalities and needsStrong communication and teamwork skillsCareer AdvantagesIn-house Rehab (non-contracted)New graduates welcome to applyCompetitive compensationFlexible schedulesEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
