Job description
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA)Amplified Therapy Inc. is a family-owned pediatric healthcare provider specializing in early intervention and school-based therapy services across New Mexico. ATI delivers high-quality, no-cost services to families with children from birth to age three who are at risk of developmental delays or disabilities through the NM FIT Program.COTA/OTA provides occupational therapy as deemed necessary by evaluation, meeting the needs of client goals. COTA/OTA assists the Occupational Therapist (OT) in patient screening, assessment, and evaluation process. Duties include implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans, ongoing patient care and ongoing assessment as determined by the supervising OT. COTA/OTA will carry out all duties, tasks and assignments in a confidential, competent, and professional manner within established deadlines, in compliance with all legal and Company requirements, under the direct supervision of an OT.Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) Qualifications:Graduation from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant ProgramLicensed or eligible for licensure in New MexicoCertified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational TherapyOccupational Therapy Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:Attend IFSP, IEP, and team conferences as assignedParticipate in professional development and company committeesRepresent ATI in community outreach and eventsAdapt to various service delivery settings including homes, clinics, and community environments.Travel within the assigned county of service to complete family visits.Benefits:Sick leave accrualVacation accrualPaid holidaysShort-Term Disability$50K Life Insurance & AD&DGroup Health Insurance (60% employer-paid for employee)Supplemental Life & AD&DCell phone allowance: $50/month (FT)401K eligibility
