Occupational Therapy AssistantPer Diem at Excel Care CenterAt Excel Care Center, located in Tampa, FL, we are dedicated to helping our residents maximize their potential and live their lives to the fullest. We are seeking an innovative and compassionate full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will implement and make recommendations for updates to occupational therapy programs for a diverse population of residents.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform screenings and treatment of residents with physical functioning impairments and other conditions, developing and implementing appropriate Occupational Therapy plans of care while adhering to federal and state regulations and clinical standards.Deliver skilled occupational therapy services with the appropriate medically necessary interventions to improve, maintain or prevent decline with their physical functions.Complete comprehensive documentation for resident care including progress notes, care plans, standardized test, discharge summaries, and billing.Provide consultation and education to residents, families, caregivers, and others to promote quality care and resident outcomes.Job QualificationsMust have or be eligible for Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant license.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.Minimum of associate degree in occupational therapy assistant.All experience levels considered.Benefits and PerksJob stability in a supportive in-house environmentWeekly PaySupportive Director of RehabilitationClinical mentorship and leadership developmentAbout Excel Care CenterExcel Care Center is a modern, comfortable, and secure facility staffed by caring professionals.
