Occupational Therapy AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and be able to work closely with our Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to our clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others.Responsibilities:- Assist Occupational Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients- Provide direct therapy services to clients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist- Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care- Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote independence and improve quality of life- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environmentRequirements:- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and strategies for various populations- Proficient in electronic medical record documentation- Flexibility to work with clients of all ages and backgroundsPreferred Qualifications:- Experience working in a variety of clinical settings (nursing homes, hospitals, schools, outpatient clinics)- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technologyBenefits:- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunities for professional development and continuing education- Supportive work environment with a focus on collaboration and teamwork- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients and their families
