Job description
Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will support occupational therapists in delivering individualized treatment to adults recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injury, orthopedic conditions, and complex medical events. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, assisting with ADL training, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. You’ll educate patients and families, help maintain therapy equipment, and uphold safety and regulatory standards in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment.
