Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position working 8-hour day shifts (8:00am-4:30pm), 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation required. This opportunity is within a 60-bed skilled nursing facility providing post-hospital short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite services. This is a long-term opportunity (up to 366 weeks). The COTA will work closely with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to support patient functional independence and recovery.
Requirements:
Active COTA license required. Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred. BLS certification required per facility standards. Must demonstrate strong communication skills, ability to follow established treatment plans, and proficiency in documentation within the electronic medical record. Ability to work weekend rotation as scheduled is required.
