### Exciting Opportunity for an Occupational Therapist in Rehabilitation!
Job Description:
- Location: Asheville, NC
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Unit Name: Rehab Services at Highlands-Cashiers Hospital
- Patient Focus: Work with predominantly swing bed patients in a critical care access setting.
- Patient Ratios: Enjoy a workflow of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and effective care.
What You'll Do:
- Evaluate and Treat: Use your skills to assess and treat patients admitted to the hospital with a strong rehabilitation mindset.
- Comprehensive OT: Provide thorough occupational therapy evaluations and treatments tailored to each patient's needs.
Unit Features:
- Innovative Rehab Gym: Access to a newly designed rehab gym with state-of-the-art equipment, including outdoor therapy options.
- Equipment Available: All necessary lift equipment for optimal patient care.
- Support Staff: Work alongside 2 CNAs per shift and a rehab tech available for 20 hours a week.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Certifications: Valid OT state license and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Dress Code: Scrubs of any color.
