Job Description:
- Join a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life.
- Work in specialized rehabilitation programs with a focus on:
- Stroke recovery
- Brain injury rehabilitation
- Neurological conditions
- Trauma recovery
- Spinal cord injury management
- Amputation rehabilitation
- Orthopedic injury recovery
- Collaborate with a passionate team to maximize health, function, and overall well-being of our diverse patient population.
Position Information:
- Role: Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Shift: 8 AM - 4 PM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Once a month
- Required Certifications: PT
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an OT
- Must possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Skills & Experience:
- Must Have Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge
- Effective communication skills in English (verbal & written)
- Preferred Experience:
- OT experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehab settings
Common Diagnoses & Treatments:
- Stroke
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Spinal Cord Injury
- General Debility
Personality Traits:
- Team player
- Cooperative and willing to collaborate with healthcare professionals
First Day Instructions:
