Job description
Brevard County Ocean Rescue seeks a permanent, full-time lifeguard to guard beach patrons and relay ocean conditions. The role requires a high school diploma and 600 hours of ocean lifeguard experience, with EMT or Paramedic certification and a valid Florida driver's license.
The position offers hourly pay of $25.01 to $25.30, with a variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and countywide travel. A Lifeguard Performance Test and BLS/CPR certification are mandatory annually.
