Position Description
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving and achieving specific sales goals by managing the business relationship of strategic accounts for our OEM segment. You will be utilizing all resources to maximize revenue, sales growth, market share and productivity gains, and maintaining the portfolio of solutions and customer satisfaction. You will also collaborate with key customer executives to gain a broad understanding of the business goals and strategies, both short and long term, sell product and service solutions developed and/or supported by Reynolds and Reynolds, and build relationships with key decision-makers within selected companies to facilitate direct and indirect sales. Other responsibilities include developing, executing and maintaining account management planning processes and business review processes within each assigned account on a regular basis, and providing input into the company&'s strategic direction to meet the needs of assigned companies.
The compensation for this position will consist of a base salary plus commissions. Total targeted compensation for the first year is expected to be $120,000/year. #LI-Remote Training
Our training consists of time with experienced representatives in the field, online courses completed in your home office, and classroom instruction at Reynolds University, our award-winning internal learning institution in Dayton, Ohio. You will complete ten different courses at Reynolds University throughout your first year. Topics covered will include training on sales techniques, negotiations, dealership operations, and in-depth product training on our Dealership Retail Management System.
Requirements
Bachelor&'s degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years sales experience; Needs to be highly motivated and a self-starter; Technological understanding and ability to see solutions are critical; Ability to travel, overnight with hotel stays, up to 50%; Automotive industry experience is a plus (Sales Manager, Internet Sales Manager, F&I Manager, or GM); Must have a valid driver\u2019s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
