If you are a customer-focused, collaborative team player with stellar communication skills, this is the position for you.As an Office Administrator/Front Desk Receptionist, you are our director of first impressions and the main contact for our visitors and vendors. You are responsible for providing a welcoming environment to all visitors, vendors, clients, and consultants. Additionally, you will assist with meeting coordination and presentation setup/breakdown; perform miscellaneous administrative tasks; assist with ordering office supplies and office organization; assist with employee onboarding; and contribute to project-based support as time permits.We are an employee-owned firm where everyone is empowered to use their design voice; this inspires our culture and fuels the passion for the work we do around the world. Bring your passion and come join us!What you will do:Greet all visitors, vendors, and employees as the face of the officeAnswer incoming general office callsCoordinate conference rooms, events, meetings, and culture eventsManage inventory of office and kitchenette suppliesAssist with travel reservations, manage office calendars, and distribute mailManage coordination with vendorsDistribute relevant information to staff regarding local activities and eventsCoordinate overall office organization and cleanliness; including ordering of suppliesAssist with onboarding new employeesCoordinate regular office maintenance and building servicesRequired Qualifications:3 or more years of experience in relevant client-facing customer service role (i.e. administrative assistant or receptionist)Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)Knowledge and use of Adobe Acrobat and/or BluebeamKnowledge of general business procedures and use of office equipmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProactive, independent thinker with ability to prioritize workHigh attention to detail and high organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industryDLR Group is an integrated design firm delivering architecture, engineering, interiors, planning, and building optimization for new builds, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects.We are 100% employee-owned: every employee is literally invested in our clients' success.
