We deliver and coordinate a continuum of high-quality healthcare with the goal of improving the health of our communities.Job Summary:The Office Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the administrative/clerical functions of the practice and performing a variety of administrative functions related to the daily operations of the practice. Supervises the administrative staff, assists the psychiatric department management staff and practice operations including scheduling, work flow, service delivery and employee performance. Serves as primary resource to office staff on administrative matters including, but not limited to: patient flow, office operations, customer service, health insurance, benefit collection, insurance authorizations, billing/coding requirements and EMR functionality and utilization.QualificationsHigh School Diploma Required, post-secondary degree preferredMinimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral health practice requiredPrevious management/supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferredBilingual a plusComputer proficiency and ability to read and understand oral and written instructions and effectively communicate informationWith locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
