With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh (NYSE: MRSH).A day in the life.This position is a five-day-a-week on-site position based out of our Maitland location, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.As our Office Coordinator on the Business Services Group team, you'llOversee daily office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environmentPartner with the Facilities Team on vendor service coordinationAssist with Purchase Order creation and ongoing requests for vendor invoicesProcess checks and FedEx to appropriate lock boxCoordinate and distribute internal communications, announcements, and updatesAssist in planning and organizing company events, meetings, and training sessions, including logistics, catering, and material preparationSupport printing and mailing needs, including client presentations and proposalsNavigate carrier websites and extract documents for processingManage office supplies inventory, placing orders as neededAnswer incoming calls and route appropriatelyPrepare outgoing mail and overnight packagesMaintain copiers and office equipment, assist with copier jams and settingsProcess new mail tasks in document management systemsMonitor Employee Services group inboxAssist with new hire onboardingOur future colleague.We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a professional office settingIntermediate proficiency with MS OfficeAbility to analyse and prioritize a variety of tasks and deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitudeWell organized, strong attention to detail, deadline oriented, and self-motivatedThese additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:College degree/certificate or combination of education and comparable work experience preferredPrevious office experience preferredPrevious phone experience preferredIntermediate computer skills including Outlook, Word & ExcelStrong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasksStrong organizational skills with high attention to detailResponsive and self-motivated team playerReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
