Office Management SpecialistShimmick is seeking an experienced Office Management Specialist to support the construction of major infrastructure projects. This role is based in our corporate office in Irvine, CA, and will provide day-to-day support to keep assigned projects in the area running smoothly.Backed by over 100 years of expertise and driven by innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit, Shimmick is one of the most dynamic infrastructure builders in the industry. As project delivery models, regulatory frameworks, supply chains, and technology continue to evolve, our ability to stay flexible and agile in our construction approach is essential to our success.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:Processing, coordination, and management of Union Payroll for project(s).Prepare, analyze, and transmit Certified Payroll and any/all additional reporting documents per project and contract specifications.Document Control for project through CMiC software.Provide support in accounting and project management modules in CMiC.Provide support for invoicing; pay applications; waivers.Coordination with subcontractors including management of project insurance requirements with subcontractors and vendors.Process New Hires (Craft and Salaried) – Paperwork, training videos, drug testing.Coordinate and manage month-end close with corporate office in order to provide timely and accurate reporting for project.Manage project office facilities including stock and inventory control for office-related equipment and products.Coordinate Verizon and Sprint cell/radio use for project.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Highschool diploma or equivalent + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:Payroll experience.Construction site experience.Additional Information:Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.Relocation benefits are not available for this position.The salary range for this position is between $32.00 - $36.00 per hour depending on experience and/or education.Shimmick offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial future.
