We strive to ensure a supportive and collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to grow and elevate their careers through promotion within the organization.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee office staff, including hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplining, terminating, etc.Oversight of accounting function and related informationResponsible for all aspects of general ledgerPrepare and analyzes financial statements and monthly reports in a timely mannerUnderstanding of the payroll process and related tax systemsOversees vendor management and outsourcingComplies with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filingInspect accounting records and schedules for efficiency and accuracyOrganize and update financial recordsPerform various monthly reconciliationsAssist in preparing documentation for external auditorsPerforms other duties or projects as assigned.QualificationsExperience in car dealership requiredExcellent computer skillsExperience with business applications and accounting software, CDK preferredExcellent communication skill, verbal and writtenExcellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors and staffAble to deal with confidential information appropriatelyHighly organized and detail orientedEncouraging process developmentWhat We OfferMedical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, paid basic life insurance, 401(k) plan, personal time off, paid training, employee vehicle purchase plans, health and wellness, Saturday lunches, discounts on products and servicesPhysical demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
