Office ManagerThe Airway Dentists' mission is to provide exceptional dental care and rid the world of sleep disordered breathing. With offices in Houston and Austin, we provide orthodontic, sleep apnea, and general dentistry services. Our clinical team is led by our co-founders, Dr. Kyle Hale, Dr. Kalli Hale, and Dr. Matt Hicks. We are hiring a full-time Office Manager to join us in redefining the standard of care in dentistry.The ideal candidate:Loves being both the face and the air traffic controller of the office. You are friendly and energetic with a passion for order. You take enormous satisfaction from being part of a team that saves patients' lives every day.The opportunity:Full-time, paid Office Manager managing the office's non-clinical operationsCompetitive compensation $25-35/hr depending on experienceEligible for merit-based bonusExtensive personal and professional growth opportunities in our expanding practicesThe role:Manage daily office operations including scheduling and patient flowCommunicate with patients via phone, text, email, and in-personPresent treatment plansOptimize scheduleVerify insurance, arrange financing, and process paymentFollow up with patientsRelay patient concerns to the clinical teamRepresent the office at patient education dinners, community events, and meetings with allied health professionals, etc.Interact with the central team and other Office Managers in person and over SlackThe ideal candidate's background:Excellent communicatorPassion for order and structure2+ years experience in dental office management or healthcare administrationKnowledge of dental procedures, terminology, patient management software, and insurance processing
