Thea Energy Office ManagerThea Energy is leveraging recent breakthroughs in stellarator physics and engineering to create a faster and simpler approach to commercializing fusion energy. The company is reinventing the stellarator using computer-controlled arrays of planar coils thereby replacing the intricate, complex modular magnets required in all other stellarator architectures. Thea Energy is on a mission to create a limitless source of zero emission energy for a sustainable future.Thea Energy is seeking an organized, highly motivated Office Manager to manage ongoing internal operations and the Company's facilities, including offices and labs. This candidate will be an integral part of the Thea Energy team and will interact with employees across technical, executive, finance, and operations teams as the Company rapidly scales. The Office Manager will create efficient, smooth-running operations across the Company and on-site at Thea Energy's facilities.The Thea Energy team is comprised of self-motivated, innovative, and collaborative individuals with an excitement for solving complex problems. This is a challenging position that requires a high degree of autonomy, and the ideal candidate must be able to move quickly.Key Responsibility AreasOffice Management:Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Thea Energy's Kearny, NJ headquartersProvide flexible operational and administrative support across the Company's tech, finance, strategy, and operations functionsEnsure that Company facilities are maintained in professional and working order, and equipped with necessary supplies and equipmentProvide hands-on support with Company infrastructure, inventory, and suppliesFacilitate additional operations support with vendors, services, and other external contractorsSupport the Company's management team and assist in special projects as neededExecute Company purchasing from technical and non-technical vendorsCoordinate daily office lunch ordersCollaborate with Facilities Manager on various Company operationsCollaborate with Marketing and Communications on ordering company swag and corporate events logisticsIdentify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancementReception:Act as the face of Thea Energy at the reception area ensuring guests have a positive experienceReceive and distribute mail and deliveriesGreet candidates and ensure conference room technology set upHuman Resources Coordination:Execute interview scheduling including booking conferences rooms and sending out agendasManage new employee onboarding and logistics including:Send new hire welcome emailsCoordinate new hire buddy programCollaborate with the managers on new hire desk assignmentsCollaborate on employee engagement activities and employee resources groupsCoordinate new hire orientationAssist with intern programIdeal Experience & Skillsets:5+ years of relevant work experienceOffice management and administrative experienceProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google SuiteStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to execute and flourish in a fast-paced environmentExceptional work ethicAbility to wear many different hatsTeam player who is excited to help othersDetail orientedProblem solver$60,000 - $70,000 a yearThea Energy is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a company of diverse backgrounds.
