Apply today and join a firm where your leadership drives success.ResponsibilitiesReports directly to and supports Administrative & Legal Services Director and the Seattle Managing PartnerOversees support staff located in the Seattle office, including productivity managementAssists with implementing new policies and procedures in the Seattle officeAssists with the hiring process for support staff for the Seattle officeAssists with the onboarding process for all new hires in the Seattle officeAssists with training support staff as needed for the Seattle officeAttends meetings regularly with Administrative & Legal Services Director and Seattle PartnersAssists with facility management for the Seattle office, including office moves as necessaryAssists with management of expense reconciliation for the Seattle officePlans and coordinates quarterly events for the Seattle office alongside the Administrative & Legal Services Director and Seattle Managing PartnerHandles HR issues with HR Director and Seattle Partners and Team LeadersAdministrative assignments from Administrative & Legal Services Director and Seattle PartnersRequirementsMinimum of 5 years of previous management/leadership/human resources experiencePrior law firm experience as a legal assistant or paralegalAble to work in the Seattle office 5 days a weekReliability and discretion while handling confidential mattersHigh proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and Adobe AcrobatAbility to think and act independently and with minimal supervisionArticulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesProfessional appearance and demeanorCompensation PackageThe base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 - 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualificationsComprehensive benefits coverage offered, including plans available at zero employee cost (average annual employee contribution for health/vision/dental coverage is $700-1,700)Employee Assistance Program through HealthAdvocateEmployees receive a monthly technology reimbursement of $60Employees benefit from a 401(k) program that includes a 100% match on the first 3% contributed and a 50% match on the following 4-5%Vacation time is accrued annually at the employee's base ratePaid parental leave at base payBenefits37.5-hour standard workweek designed to promote balance and prevent burnoutEducational reimbursement program for non-attorney eligible team members (up to $3,500 per calendar year)Internal diversity and inclusion programs, such as the Women's Initiative and Young Professionals InitiativeFirm-wide charitable giving programNumerous social and off-site events each year to enrich your relationships with your colleaguesAbout Tyson & MendesWe're one of the fastest-growing civil defense firms in the country—known for breaking the mold of the traditional law firm.
